Maxillary sinus lift

The sinus lift is one of the surgical techniques that allows us to place implants in areas where it is not possible to place implants due to the bone height of the upper jaw.

Bone is placed in the posterior area of the upper jaw at the level of the premolars and molars, allowing implants to be placed where it was not previously possible. Bone is added between the floor of the maxillary sinus and the sinus membrane, creating a space where bone is placed to anchor the implants.

Bone graft

The bone graft increases the areas where there was not enough bone necessary for the placement of implants.

There are different types of grafts depending on the bone defect, that is, the bone that is missing. There are cases in which implants can be placed and, in the same session, regenerated with bone. In other cases where more bone is missing, it is necessary to regenerate previously before placing the implants.

Bank bone

In the most complex cases in which a very large area must be regenerated, it is necessary to use bank bone. At Abaden Dentistas we have the necessary authorization to perform this type of intervention. Thanks to 3D technology, from the 3D scanner, we obtain a model of the patient’s mouth in which we can mold the bone block before placing it in the patient’s mouth. In this way, the surgery is more predictable, faster and safer.
